among the 9 things you should know when you are at a prom

Fred: ..but you told me Lisa is not coming tonight
Bill: well…yahh..that’s what SHE told me. (surprised)
Fred: then..then.. what are we gonna do now?
Bill: Don’t ask me. You’re the one freaking out. Chill dude.

(Lisa walks towards them)

Fred: Oh My God! Bill..here she comes. You gotta help me. Seriously.
Bill: Ok. Come close. Now. I want you to dance with me.
Fred: What?? I’m not gonna dance with you!
Bill: Just hurry. I’m trying to help you.
(Bill embraces Fred and put his hand on Fred’s waist – pretending to dance)

Lisa: Hi guys. Ahh..So, you guys dance together? I didn’t know boys dance with boys. (giggled)
Bill: Well..No actually. I’m helping Fred practising his moves. He says that he wants to ask you to dance with him. (upon hearing this, Fred immediately steps on Bill’s foot *ngaa*)
Lisa: Oh..really? How sweet is that. Hi Fred. How you doing tonight?
Fred: Ermm..err…I’m ok.
Lisa: So, I heard you were practising your dance moves. Would you mind showing me some of them?
Fred: Err..NO..no.. I mean…Yess… Sure.. I was practising my moves. And now I will show it to you. Come Bill. Dance with me.
Bill: (what??!)

And the evening ends with Fred dancing with Bill. Cute.

Lesson 1: Never try to help an idiot friend of yours. You’ll end up an idiot as well.
Lesson 2: You show a girl your dance moves by dancing with THEM. Not with another guy!

Azrin's story 1

Azrin just finished his football practice. Usually after his training session, Azrin would join the rest of the team for some teh-tarik at Ali Maju Bistro. But it seems like today isn’t going to be like every other day; Azrin grabbed his Three-Stripes sports bag and his tumbler and went off. Well, actually, none of his friends noticed that he did not join them that evening. Who cares anyway. So he drove his brand-new-maroon-1.6 (oh ya..plus the 5 Zigen metallic sport rim) Satria Neo and headed home. I wouldn’t want to talk about his driving as one can hardly breathe while Azrin’s hands are on the steering wheel.

He noticed a Pantai Medical ambulance followed by another medical vehicle was speeding from the other side of the road as he reached his housing area. Hm. That’s rare. Minutes later, he was already entering his apartment's security post and he could see dozens of cars and a very large crowd of people at the entrance of his block. Oh dear. Looks like I just have to struggle myself between them to get through. He thought. He walked from his parking spot towards the crowd and as he reaches there, he heard voices shouting his name, Hey its Azrin. Its Azrin lah. He’s back already. Everyone. Move. Move. All the noise suddenly turned into a pasar lelong ‘selling’ his name. Azrin. Azrin. Everyone. Azrin. I didn’t know I was this famous in the neighbourhood. He fled off as he saw an opening at the end of the crowd.

Now, standing in front of his apartment’s door, Azrin couldn’t believe his eyes. He was speechless and he could barely feel his legs. What….the…hel….

Spy dreaming

I've been thinking about this one thing in my head all morning! And the best part is; when I want to write about it, the zeal just disappeared.

I wish I'm a sexy spy working undercover for some secret agency. Unfortunately, the only thing undercover is my dream of doing the things i like and by now its become rusty. I'm at work now and I'll check back tonight then.

Dreams of becoming a spy,
Ms Chaya

To those who call themselves Malaysian

It is obscene to say that this country is not developing. However, one must remember that development, or effective development to be more precise, does not happen in a day or two neither in fifty-two years time. We will need a lot of shared pain and tears to achieve this (with all due respect: shared). Hence, as one of the entities that propagate this rather small piece of land, please do not ask for any development if you think that you have not shed any tears or spilled any precious blood of yours (I mean on this land). It is generally assume and it is most rightful to presume that everyone bears the responsibility to bring up this land together - Put aside the differences that we have. And just for the record - Is there such thing as ‘differences’ when one is actually striving for ‘equality’? Enlighten me, please.

Despite all the on-going issues (evolving faster than we thought it would), it is feasible to say that we are, currently, still able to feast upon the best ribs in the world – even though one hates it. That’s the truth. Eat it. Even so, try asking a guy on the street “Sir, do you think our country is peaceful?”…“Dunno”. So, to think of it, if you can’t really tell between what makes a peaceful country and an un-peaceful one – Kill yourself (not that I’m encouraging suicide activities but, yah. Beat it).

Talk about integration and the current government’s policy on national unity: Practice them. And don’t just keep ‘em on papers. Sad to say, in this country, everything has to be visible. One must ensure that his or her effort is never ever implicit. It has to be plicit. Not for any recognition or awards or anything, but just to tell others that Yes, I did my work.

And I would like to share what Napoleon once said which is (to me) undeniably true, “If you want a thing done well, do it yourself”.

Wiseman he is..

After more than 50 years of independence, Malaysians can easily be described with this one-liner from the Great Gandhi. Oh, he's good. Believe me. and this was what he said after having a glass of plain water at Sri Maniam's place:

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
